2 or 4 Person Best Ball

Partners will be selected on the first tee box for all two (2) Man Team events. A player with the lowest handicap factor will be partnered with the highest handicap factor player. The remaining two players will be partners.   

One scorecard will be submitted for each team. All scores for each player will appear on the scorecard.

This competition is scored by each hole. The score for the hole is determined by using the one best Net score or total sum of the team for the hole and totaling these scores for 18 holes.

The Net score is determined for each player by subtracting the number of strokes a player is allowed for the hole from his score for the hole. The number of strokes a player is allowed for a hole is determined by his course handicap and the row labeled Handicap-men on the scorecard.  The following chart may assist in understanding the number of stokes a player is allowed for the hole:

A player will get strokes taken off where his course handicap equals or is less than the Handicap-men.

A player with a 7 course handicap will get a stroke off on holes 1, 5, 7, 9, 12, 15, and 17 where the Handicap-men equals 7 or is less.

A 14 course handicap will get 1 stroke on every hole except 4, 8, 11, and 14 where the handicap-men is greater than the 14.

An 18 course handicap gets one stroke on every hole.

A 28 will get one stroke on every hole plus an additional stroke on 10 more holes (1, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12, 15, 16, 17) where the Handicap-men is equal or less than 10.

A 38 will have 2 strokes per hole plus an additional stroke on 5 and 15.

The 46 has 2 stokes per hole plus an additional stroke on every hole except 2, 3, 4, 8, 11, 13, 14 & 18.
