Par Points - Stableford (single, 2 person or 4 person)
Two (2) person teams will be selected on the tee box. The player with the lowest handicap factor will be partnered with the player with the highest handicap factor to form the first team.
The remaining two players will be partners of the second team. Points are awarded for each hole in the following manner:
Albatross ................................................. 5
Eagle ....................................................... 4
Birdie ...................................................... 3
Par ........................................................... 2
Bogie ....................................................... 1
Etc.
The par for the hole is determined by the player’s course handicap. Each hole has a rated handicap and is shown on the scorecard. The holes are rated from 1 being the most difficult hole to 18 being the least difficult. For example if a player has a handicap of 18 for the course, he will be allowed one extra stroke per hole. In other words if a hole has a par of 4, his par for the hole will be 5. Should a players handicap be 24 he will be allowed a stroke a hole plus another stroke for 6 more of the most difficult holes on the course. The player will have 2 strokes a hole on the holes with a handicap rating of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. Any rating of 7 or over he will have only 1 stroke per hole.
A 2 man and 4 man Par Points will be the total of the points or the total of the best points for the hole for the Team. The type of competition will be indicated on the Tournament Schedule.
As these are Team events one scorecard must be submitted per team with all team member scores on the card.
